…running for the bus. Back to work today. I always run late on a Monday morning (where did I leave my….?) so had to cycle in to make it to work on time (after pumping up my bike’s tyres, something I could have done at any time over the last 2 weeks, but somehow only got round to doing this morning).
That left my commute home as my slot for today’s run. I dutifully started off, only to find about 2km in that my left ankle, left shin, right shin and right knee all felt very strongly that today should be another short recovery run. At which point, I hopped (quite literally) onto a passing bus for the rest of the way home. 😉

Well done for trying and always best listen to body when it says ‘No’ wise not to go on.
Ouch – rest up tonight and maybe just another little one tomorrow then – you don’t want to get an injury and put yourself out completely.
Take it easy, my whole Janathon so far has been a recovery run!
Sounds like you did the right thing hopping on that bus. Hope today was better. 🙂
