…a meandering commute. I caught the train in with my other half this morning, which leaves me a nice short 1km run to work. I put on my music (Audiofuel’s grooving 160s…but played at 180bpm as I’m trying to increase my cadence). I was having such fun that I decided to take a magical mystery tour and ended up adding in a stretch of riverbank (complete with geese, swans, ducks and moorcoots*).
I’m now off to read Pyro‘s blog to see whether Tigger and Pooh have caught a Janathoner yet.

*white nose = coot? white nose = moorhen? white nose = moorcoot!
I must get me some of the Audiofuel music. What would you recommend to a beginner like me? 🙂
All the advice I read said to get from walking to running it was best to follow a walk run programme. I made up playlists of audiofuel that combined walking and running in similar proportions to a walk/run programme I got off the internet, and gradually built up the running and cut down on the walking. Much easier than using a watch (at least for me) 🙂
sounds like a lovely way to get to work in the morning… loving the moorcoots! 🙂
lol – I always get confused over those too! How do you play stuff at a higher BPM? Do you have a special widget thingy?
If you’ve an iphone, there’s at least one app (for example tempo magic pro). Can’t vouch for them, as I don’t have an iphone lol.
oooh – thanks!
Answer: Not yet. But soon 🙂
lol – I’m looking forward to it.
