Day 27…

…don’t make me run.  I’m sitting in the office catching up with everyone’s blogs and thinking about how very little I want to get changed and go out in the cold and wind.  I cycled in this morning, so I have done some exercise, but I so want to be one of the hardcore who run every day, even if it’s only short distances.

But it’s so cold.  And I have shopping, which will make my backpack heavy.  And did I mention that it’s cold?

 Day 27…

…I have the bestest husband in the whole wide world.  Ten minutes after running home [6km, woohoo!], I was sitting down tucking into quorn fillets, roast vegetables and mash.  And he’d saved me the little baby peppers from inside the big peppers.

He does that.  Baby peppers, the insides of tomatoes and raw potato left over from when he makes chips.  All my favourite food treats.

Know exactly how you feel – didn’t fancy it in the cold tonight myself either! Hope you got on OK, if not you still cycled today anyways 🙂

Well I have to ask raw potatoes? really? I used to save the baby grapes for my girls. Well done for getting out despite the cold and well done to hubby too. Do you hire him out at all?

    • abradypus says:

No – I keep him all to myself. I’m selfish like that. 😉 As for the raw potatos, I just like the taste. Cool, crisp, not too sweet – what can I say, I’m weird.

That is a bit wierd – I thought raw potato was actually mildly poisonous??? Woohoo still running yay!! Well done – you’ll have to change your name too!

Baby peppers from inside the big peppers?? Judging by everyone else’s reactions I’m guessing I’m the only one who doesn’t know what this is… but I’ve sliced and chopped many a pepper in my time and not once have I found a baby pepper inside! It just sounds crazy to me. Please tell me I’m being an idiot and you mean a different pepper!

  7. Well done for getting out from the warm and getting all cold to run home Only 4 dys to go! Yummy supper – I want one of those hubbies!!

  8. Maggiee says:

Yes! Another name change! You are no longer a sloth… it’s official! I wish my him indoors would be so kind as to be attending to my food needs after a run… he sometimes watches the pasta whilst it boils for me!!! 🙂 Just 4 days to go! woop!!

  9. G says:

Woo hoo you got out there!! Well done!

  10. Pyrosyard says:

Good work! And raw potato is only poisonous if it’s green…
