Day 31…

…job done.  I opted to cycle into work this morning and then run/bus home from work this evening to round off my Janathon.

Which brings my Janathon totals to:

  • Run – 32 – 69.2 mi
  • Bike – 8 – 34.8 mi
  • Walk – 2 – 2.2 mi

Not a bad tally for a self-confessed sloth.

Well done and thank you to all of you – reading your blogs and comments has been inspirational, heartening and hugely entertaining.  I’m still planning a tour of parkruns, so if you have any recommendations, I’d love to hear from you.

      Good work.
Just looked at the brownies. Mmmmmmmmmmmmm. Might have to get the brownie tin out in a bit!

Really enjoyed reading your blog so just like Shaz said I hope you blog about the tour of the parkruns. You should definitely do the Cardiff one – Bute Park is beautiful and one of my favourite places to be when the sun is shining. Congratulations of an excellent month!

    5. Most active sloth I’ve ever heard about! Well done on a great Janathon. Keep blogging about your park runs so we can see your PB times fall,

So a change of name is in order! Well done… brilliant Janathon achievements in run, bike and walk! Heaton Park Park run in Manchester is a good one! 🙂

I’ve never done a parkrun but obviously the wimbledon one is great! Come and I’ll finally get round to doing it! Well done you’ve done amazing!

    8. fortnightflo says:

Yay well done!! Come do the MK run with me!! Would be great to do it with someone else, although as you are faster than me you can pootle off and just be there to hand me a towel at the end. Thanks for my knitted Jess too – we are going to get him framed! See you on the 12th – enjoy your tour of HoP if I don’t speak to you before. Cx

    9. Andy says:

Well done, I’m proud of you.

What amazes me though is I didn’t have to push you out of the house even once during Janathon to get you to do your run.

Keep it up for Feb 😉

    10. Andy says:

Forgot to say, while you were out I’ve eaten the rest of the brownies…I feel sick now (but in a good way, if that’s possible).

Going for a lie down now.

    11. Pyrosyard says:

Well done! Drop me a line if you make it to Leeds parkrun

      Next challenge? 😉

Great Janathon effort, well done! Really enjoyed following your blog over Janathon and will be checking in to hear how you getting on over the coming months 🙂

    13. Jules says:

Congratulations on completing Janathon! Have been pleasantly surprised that six of ‘my’ block of 20 bloggers managed to blog and run every day, a fantastic achievement by any standards.
Next time I’m in Milton Keynes (my brother David, the other half of 2011miles lives there), I might try out the parkrun – might be a chance to meet?
      Take care,
