What a pathetic day! I managed a whole 1km run this morning, and then cycled the short way home because I wanted to avoid a rise so slight that to call it a hill is to ask for ridicule.
On the other hand, I do know more about the brain that I did this morning, having listened to the first hour of an audiobook written and read by a brain scientist who had a major stroke at the age of 37. Sounds worthy, but is in fact fascinating.
ooooh… that does sound interesting. Audio books are a good idea… I’ve thought for a while I should invest, it would certainly make those long runs more interesting. I reckon today could just be classed as a ‘rest/ recovery day’… nought wrong with that… in fact, they’re essential! 🙂
