This morning, I came within a gnat’s crotchet of putting an abradypus sized dent in the back of someone’s car as they reversed out of their driveway willy nilly gay abandon without looking for oncoming cyclists.
Not the best start to the day, and it went rapidly downhill from there. Meetings, meetings and more meetings. And I managed to inadvertently wind up my boss. And our broadband is still down.
On the plus side, my husband got to deal with today’s corpse (a robin, as far as he could tell), I still like my vivobarefoots and homemade pizza is assembling itself as I type.
Eek about the near miss! Glad you’re ok.
Self-assembling pizza sounds remarkable! Where do you get it from? 😉
glad the corpse was only a robin and not you!
Crikey, sounds like a very near miss, glad you’re OK 🙂 Yum to homemade pizza!
So far as I can tell from Juneathon, there are 3 running essentials; 1) Chocolate. 2) Pizza. 3) Alcohol. How come you never read about these in running magazines?!?!
Enjoy your pizza, tomorrow will be a brighter day.
And cake. There must always be cake.
Definitely cake!
Meetings suck. Bosses suck. But pizza is YUM! Well done on Day 9. x
Since reading One day by David Nicholls, I have to e-mail my best friend who cycles to work from Charlton to London Bridge to make sure she got in alive. And I make her text me so I know she got home safe. Thankfully you have OH to check that but now you are added on to my list and I’ll have to check your blog every night to make sure you’re OK too. I do that anyway but still… I am a boss and I agree we suck – some days it is v easy to wind me up! Great Juneathoning!
Eeek horrible fright.
Hope the pizza makes upfor the rest of a bad day. You probably also need cake for the shock.
The pizza has worked wonders…as has the chocolate!
Days like this are definitely best wrapped up with pizza. Bloomin drivers. Grrr
Crikey heck, very glad to hear that you’re ok. I support all of the cake prescriptions issued above.
Bah humbug about the near miss, that’s always scary isn’t it. But doesn’t sound like a terrible end to the day with homemade pizza, happy shoes and a bit of chocolate.
Hope the pizza was as good as its sounds and settled your nerves after the near miss.
Pizza and near-death-experiences apart, glad to hear the vivobarefeet are a success so far!
