Joining up

At the risk of sounding like a real runner, I have joined a running club.  Granted, I’ve joined the virtual Fetch Everyone Running Club (membership benefits include a membership card with my name written on it in pen) rather than a running club that actually meets, but I am, nevertheless, a fully paid up member of a club.

Coo!

Still on course for a successful Juneathon.  Today’s effort was my standard weekday cycle / cycle / run-round-the-block combo.  I won’t be winning any awards for distance, but my speed seems to be improving slightly.  And I still like my vivobarefoots.

Are they running shoes or cycling shoes? And why are there 3?(late, tired and absolutely being dense?)

  4. fortnightflo says:

They are very funky and priofessional athlete looking shoes…

So you get to tick the box that says you’re a member of a running club now?? How swish…. Just like the shoes!

Shoes look intriguing, haven’t seen those ones before. I’ve been intrigued by the “barefoot” running shoes for a while, but some of them don’t look protective enough for the urban environment (a hard balance I know). How long have you been using yours?

I like you dont have to tie your laces but where would I attach my key?

Thanks for visiting my blog. Congrats on being in the running club – sounds like fun. I’m definitely interested in the new shoes. I was looking into some VFFs, but yours look really interesting. Off to google now. Happy running!
