Upping sticks (and thanks @knittingpenguin)

A couple of weeks ago, I met up with travelling hopefully (aka @knittingpenguin) at Bolton parkrun.  Inspired by our post-run chat, I signed up to Stitch London, and dug out a partially completed project that has been slowly gathering dust (and cat hair).

And then, three days ago, I knitted my first rows (all three of them) for six months.  And last night, I knitted another five.  And it was fun.

So, thank you, travelling hopefully, for reminding me that I like knitting, and for inspiring me to polish off my knitting sticks.  Who knows, in a week’s time, I may even have knitted enough rows to get me to the next interesting bit!

what are you knitting? I must admit knittingpenguin inspired me to start knitting again too, I am currently doing a baby blanket. I did one a few years ago for a friend, an really liked the pattern, so thought I’d do another. Best of all – no sewing afterwards! Am absolutely terrible at the sewing up bit. Thinking of doing myself a chunky cardigan next
