It’s all going a little the way of the pear on the viceathon front. The week after my marathon (had I mentioned that I’d run a marathon?) was very quiet. No chocolate, no exercise, no calculation required.
Saturday was parkrun day, and the logistics meant that I cycled to parkrun, ran parkrun, cycled into London proper and then cycled home, all of which wiped out my post pudding debt, leaving me a little in credit.
Then disaster struck. Monday was a day of solid meetings, bearable only with the ingestion of copious numbers of Walkers Belgian Chocolate Shortbread biscuits. Tuesday was also solid meetings with wonderful Walkers biscuits, though I did manage some running and cycling. Wednesday was a third successive day of solid meetings, so the biscuits were joined by hot chocolate (both as a drink and eaten as powder by the teaspoon) and today included a few biscuits and some rather decadent millionaires’ shortbread.
All of which leaves me just a teeny tiny bit in debt.
April 17-26
Hot chocolate powder in: half a tin = 475 chocal = 950 excal
Belgian chocolate biscuits in: 24 = 2,400 biscal = 4,800 excal
Millionaires’ shortbread in: 1 small slice = 100 biscal = 200 excal
Cycling out: 56 miles = 2,800 excal
Running out: 6 miles = 600 excal
Viceathon total b/fwd: (1,150) excal
Viceathon total c/fwd: (3,700) excal
Ooops.
In powder form??? By the teaspoon???? That’s just weird!!!! 😉
Should definitely be by the tablespoon!
Lol. I’ve more meetings tomorrow, so could well be breaking out one of those. Along with the chocolate spread.
Oh my goodness… I’ve started a list of things to eat while in England. I just added Walkers Belgian Chocolate Shortbread biscuits. They’re Belgian? So what, they sound “scrummy” (did I use that word correctly?)
Oh oh walkkers with Belgian chocolate – where can I buy these beauties??
Hot chocolate powder – seriously?! That just sounds like a serious waste of Viceathon cals 😉
