The hills may be alive, but I’m as dead as a dodo!

I was severely tempted to give running a miss to slump on the sofa, but when I floated that idea on twitter, @helsieboo, @knittingpenguin and @fairweatherrun told me in no uncertain terms that it was forbidden, so I dragged myself along to club.

How can running up a hill nine times be that tiring?

    And if I only could,
I’d make a deal with God,
And I’d get him to swap our places,
    Be running up that road,
    Be running up that hill,
    With no problems…
