Borrowing mojo

One third of the way into Janathon, and my motivation has dipped.  So when RunOrGoCrazy suggested that I join her on her Friday long run, I leapt at the chance.

My usual routine (get up intending to go for a morning run, faff around, eat lunch, faff around, finally go out after dark) was replaced with a prompt 9am start* and I was back home and showered in time for lunch.

Isn’t it amazing how much more quickly time passes when you’re having fun?  I swear that the two hour run took less time than the three minutes of ITB foam rollering that followed.**

*Okay, so it was 9.06am and there was a little bit of faffing, but you catch my drift.

** Ish.  May have been less.  Worked wonders, in any case.

Early runs are definitely the way to go as you get it over and done with! A 2 hour run, now I am nervous 🙂

So true- that run we did from Mile end flew by – except that last 500m on Embankment!
