Apparently, there is a limit to the amount of chocolate that I can eat. Who knew?
Cocoa beans, cocoa butter, chocolate liquor, cocoa nibs, dark chocolate, milk chocolate, caramel ice-cream, ganache, praline, salted caramel, sugared almonds and a prosecco cocktail with the flesh of a cacao pod. You name it, we tried it*.
It was all, with the possible exception of the tobacco chocolate, lovely. But I don’t think that I’ll be eating chocolate again. Ever**.
PS for anyone wondering whether I’m trying to pass extreme chocolate eating off as my Juneathon activity, I’m not. I snuck in a few lunges to take care of that.
*At an Artisan du Chocolat tasting evening.
**Or at least until tomorrow.
Oh yes, I like this. To know that an ultra-runner can eat this much chocolate brings how to us all!! Hooray!
… Or even, “hope”
(Stupid big thumbs!)
Yum! Well, minus the tobacco chocolate – I don’t think I could come at that either. Good work sneaking a few lunges in, but I think the amount of chewing undertaken could have had you covered (jaws need exercise too, right?). 🙂
Sounds wonderful, although if I ate that much chocolate my body would shut down! 😉
Ok so now I want chocolate for breakfast and its all your fault!
Am sitting here dribbling at the thought of all that chocolate!
I felt like that after visiting Cadbury World – it didn’t last though! 😉
sounds amazing!
I love salt caramel. Don’t fancy tobacco chocolate. Bacon chocolate is nice. Marmite chocolate is not.
Chocolate is packed full of antioxidants which fight free-radicals in your body which lead to … nasty stuff that’s bad for you.. and therfore it’s a matter of not being able to afford not to eat the stuff.
