Sort of.
I wasn’t going to. I really can’t face blogging every day, I won’t be logging my activity on running free, and I’m also not going to be running every day because I don’t want to court another injury.
Which may well leave you wondering what I will be doing. To which the answer is stretching, lunging, squatting, balancing and foam rolling. All the little everyday routines which I should be doing to complement my running, but which have completely fallen by the wayside while I’ve been injured.
This could be my toughest Janathon challenge yet!
Hooray you are in!
I tried very hard to resist, but my willpower was lacking.
you’re in good company! and we don’t need to blog each day, we can tweet our updates 🙂
Tweeting is cheating!
Louise, I find myself in the same dilema ! After the fun of Janathon 2013, February was the month it all went horribly wrong for me and my 3 marathons a few weeks later were in danger of not being run. This year I haven’t signed up for a full (yet). I’m anxious of suffering the same injury…so, like you, I’ll probably sign up but not run every day…
I actually had every intention of NOT doing it too, but I’m not sure what happened…. Lack of willpower too, I guess.
Stay injury free.
Happy new year.
I like your method of dealing with a Janathon challenge, it can be tough on your bones and muscles if you aren’t very careful and I’m keen to see you back doing what I know you can do best – ULTRAs. Best of luck with routines you’ve got planned and see you out and about, on roads and trails
