A culinary adventure

Well, it’s nearly 2pm and I’ve yet to even start the main item on my To Do list, namely an Open University assignment with a rapidly approaching deadline.

But I have done my balancing, lungeing (lunging?) and foam rolling, and I have had a culinary adventure, so it’s not all bad.

What’s that?  You want to hear about my culinary adventure?  Are you sure?  Really sure?  Because once I’ve put the idea into your head, there may not be mind bleach strong enough to remove it.

Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

The train of thought went something like this:

“Mmmm.  I fancy a snack.  Not biscuits.  Not chocolate.  Not crystallised stem ginger.  Something less sweet.  Ooooh.  Raw potato.  Now there’s an idea.  But I’m slightly hungrier than just a potato.  What else have we got?  Houmous that’s in date and needs eating.  Well, houmous and baked potato is nice, and houmous and chips is lovely and houmous also works with raw pepper and raw carrot and raw tomato.  So it definitely works with potato and it definitely works with raw… so it’s bound to work with raw potato.”

So there you have it.  Raw potato and houmous.  If you like raw potato, and you like houmous, then it’s a winner.

Just me then?

I’ve had raw potato, but not on purpose. I’d have to be ravenous, senile, or both to eat it on purpose 🙂

I would call myself the queen of procrastination, but when all that was left was eating raw potato I think that even I would decide it was probably just time to turn on the computer! Hope it fuelled you sufficiently to complete your assignment 🙂
