The T word

I have a long training run on Sunday, so this week is a low volume, low intensity recovery week.

Sounds good, doesn’t it?

Unfortunately, there’s a name for low volume, low intensity weeks that come before hard runs, namely taper weeks. And my taperchondria is back with a vengeance.

So far today I have had twinges in my left foot (Is it still broken?), my left knee (Is that ITB problem back?), my right knee (Has my kneecap fallen off?), my right hip (Do I need an emergency hip replacement?) and my head (Am I coming down with the flu?)

Be a dear and pass me some taperchondria-be-gone pills.
