Do it! Yes, it’s hilly, and yes, after all the rain it was muddy, but it is also low key, generously marshalled, very clearly marked, comes complete with a cooked breakfast at the end and has one of the most distinctive medals I’ve ever earned.
The profile:

Did I mention the hills?
The route:

Looks like most of the runners afterwards – bowed and broken.
The medal:

Worth every minute.

Fantastic effort and well impressive bling, well done! 🙂
Thank you 🙂
Ha ha ha! is that really the route map?
That is really the route map. It’s great, isn’t it?
I’d do it just for that! Oh, and for the cooked breakfast and cool medal of course. Sounds like you earned it after all those hills. 🙂
Lovely medal. Well done and yummy, full breakfast sounds good to me!
There was a veggie option too. And showers.
Oh look at those lovely hills! Well done.
Devon flat 😉
Great medal…terrifying hills – well done!
nice medal! very hilly indeed – well done to you 🙂
great running! And the medal looks fantastic!! 🙂
Congrats! What a beautiful medal!
Eek! Gradient looks tough and I love that the route looks like a knackered runner!! Well done on earning that awesome bling!
I’ll be honest. I walked. A lot.
Well done! It is one I know I should do as it is in the back yard so to speak, but never been brave enough.
If you look at the hills as walk breaks, add in that at 10 miles you can opt to switch down to the half marathon and factor in the possibility of starting early if you’re worried about cut off, then it’s actually less fearsome than it seems.
The route map is fantastic. Congratulations!
That’s a nice medal, I’m jealous
