There’s lots to find inspiring about Chris. His willingness to take on any challenge, the way his parkrun times have gradually dropped from 26:?? to 25:?? to 24:?? to 23:?? to 22:?? to 21:??, the way that he has dealt with a string of injuries.
But. Of all the things that he has done, and will no doubt go on to do, the one which amazes me the most is this. Had this been me, I would still be spitting blood and throwing my toys out of the pram. If something similar ever happens to me, I will be looking to Chris for inspiration. Because wow. Just wow.
