Displacement activity

“60 mins including 10 x 20 sec pickups during final 20 mins”

Done.  Isn’t it amazing how much more appealing exercise is when the alternative is to work through a past exam paper in timed conditions*?  So appealing, in fact, that I not only ran a loop of Richmond Park, I also dug out my bike and cycled there and back.

I will no doubt regret that in the morning, when my muscles are screaming blue murder at me.

* Though, for the record, I did work through two papers, one either side of the run.

  1. I’m convinced my best ever marathon (which was also my first, when I was a poor student) was due to the fact that I preferred running to studying…. So I empathise.
Well done for getting both done!

Even cleaning the oven becomes a task that ‘just has to be done’ when I am revising 🙂

You’re all far more productive than me – when I was studying I developed an obsessive love for test cricket that I now find completely baffling!

Good work getting out (twice) and getting the revision done (twice) .. displacement is a wonderful thing 🙂
