“Rest”
I’ve spent the last 36 hours playing catch up. I’ve caught up on my sleep (15 of the 20 hours between Sunday noon and Monday 8am), I’ve caught up on my eating (crisps, fruit, flapjack, pain au chocolat, and macaroni cheese to name but some of it), and I’ve caught up on social media and seen a little bit of my race (and far too many photographs of me) through the eyes of my crew.
I am a lucky, lucky sloth.
You’re an awesome, awesome, sloth.
I just can’t imagine how you do it!
Anything over 5 hours and I get the cramps from the depths of the underworld. I don’t think I could even just stay awake for 24 hours these days. You ran for that long!
(I just thought I’d remind you in case you’d forgotten).
Strangely enough, staying awake has not so far been a problem. Blisters, cramp and general hurtiness, on the other hand…
So very impressed with how you did! Thanks for letting Jools and I be a part of it
Thank you for wanting to be a part of it. Miles 72 to 100 were definitely easier mentally because of your company.
