Bad maths

My run today featured 10 x flat out 50 metres.

As I was run commuting, I decided to convert the instruction into seconds.  “400m takes 2 minutes at my 5k pace”, I thought, “so 50m will take 30 seconds”.

Qualified Accountant, maths degree, teaching qualification with a specialism in numeracy, and still firmly in contention for worst mental arithmetician ever.

I can’t even count past 4 when I am running. Gadgets are needed as extra brains.
