The tyranny of choice

My toes hate me.  They turn into icicles within minutes of setting off and take about thirty minutes to thaw once I’ve arrived.  I suspect overshoes are the answer but every time I try to buy some, the different choices outface me.

If anyone knows of the perfect pair for a commuting sloth, I’m all ears.

  1. My fingers and toes feel your pain. Mine wimped out (and bought a Latte) after 2 miles.

  2. niki says:

I sometimes wear woolen socks that my mother in law knitted. Does that help? 🙂

  3. I find that it’s not so much the shoes and socks as the legs that need an extra layer. Try a pair of cheap leg warmers.
