I tried. I really tried.
- I accepted an invitation to a meeting that didn’t start until five o’clock.
- I stopped to make a sandwich once I got home.
- I even left, realised that I’d forgotten my garmin, and returned home to pick it up.
But despite all of this, I didn’t manage to wriggle out of going to running club.
Pah!
Glad to hear it.
Ha ha love it!
But I bet you enjoyed it when you got there!
Love the Blog. Avoiding running club is the only way I’ll survive Janathon. Any scent of competitive runners and I know I’ll blow a gasket. Your park run mission is inspirational. I met a flood of park runners coming out of Frimley Lodge Park on Saturday which was my first experience of this phenomenon. Definitely going to give one a look in February.
